More Great Moments in Israeli Advertising
I rented a car recently for work and happened to come across the advertisement below. Umm, yeaaaah.
Translation: "Your first time, you will remember all your life."
For the love of G-d, what exactly are drivers renting in this country???"
I'm fairly certain that at no point were my feet ever out the window. Was I doing something wrong? I worked hard for my drivers license and this never came up in either of the lessons.
Back to the bus, I guess.

ewwww. seriously? i will never be able to look at an avis car and not think of this ad. and it will be especially gross when i see two charedi men sitting in their mazda 3..
This ad is especially weird because the slogan of Avis used to be "We're #2, we try harder."
What were they thinking?
Or maybe they left the thinking to us...
Still, a day-brightener...we need the humor.
Now you have to check out your car with a UV like just as you would a Hotel bed.
It should also be pointed out that it looks as though the car rented is one of those tiny clown car numbers. So the real question is what the hell they are doing in there. Or who is in there? Midgets? I mean--the logistics are just not working. And where is this anyway? We don't have grass that looks like that here.
That never happened to me when I rented by Hyundai Getz. Maybe because we rented from Eldan.
Note the slogan- they do try harder.
boy am i glad to see that sleeping with the driving instructor is not just a part of the driving exam in america. for years i have wondered if something was wrong...if i was the only one. phew...i am so relieved!! thanks for posting this benji. i feel a lot better.
